In the name of God, the Gracious, the Merciful.
1. The Compassionate.
2. He taught the Quran.
3. He created the human being.
4. And He taught him eloquence.
5. The sun and the moon adhere to calculations.
6. The stars and the trees prostrate.
7. He raised the sky and established the balance.
8. So don’t upset the balance.
9. Maintain the weight with justice, and don’t fall short in the balance.
10. He spread out the earth for all creatures.
11. Within it are fruits and date palms bearing clusters of date.
12. And grains within husks, and aromatic herbs.
13. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
14. He created man from clay, akin to pottery.
15. And He created the jinn from a scorching flame of fire.
16. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
17. Lord of the two Easts and Lord of the two Wests.
18. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
19. He released the two seas, meeting side by side.
20. Between them is a barrier they don’t transgress.
21. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
22. From both of them emerge pearls and coral.
23. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
24. His are the ships, towering on the sea like landmarks.
25. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
26. Everyone on it will perish.
27. Only the presence of your Lord, full of majesty and honor, will remain.
28. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
29. Everyone in the heavens and earth asks of Him. Every day, He is engaged in some affair.
30. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
31. We will attend to you, O prominent species.
32. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
33. O congregation of jinn and humans, if you can pass beyond the zones of the heavens and the earth, then pass. However, you can’t pass without authorization.
34. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
35. You’ll be bombarded with a shower of flames and smoke, and you won’t succeed.
36. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
37. When the sky is ripped apart, and it becomes a rose, like paint.
38. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
39. On that Day, no man or jinn will be asked about his sins.
40. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
41. The guilty will be recognized by their marks, and they’ll be seized by the forelocks and the feet.
42. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
43. This is Hell, which the guilty denied.
44. They will circulate between it and a seething bath.
45. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
46. But for anyone who fears standing before his Lord, there are two Gardens.
47. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
48. Brimming with variety.
49. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
50. In them, two springs are flowing.
51. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
52. In them is every kind of fruit in pairs.
53. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
54. Reclining on couches lined with brocade, the fruit of the two Gardens near at hand.
55. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
56. Within them are maidens, restraining their glances, whom before them no man or jinni has deflowered.
57. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
58. As if they were rubies and coral.
59. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
60. Is there any reward for Good—other than Good?
61. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
62. Beyond these, there exist two more gardens.
63. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
64. Intensely dark green.
65. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
66. Within them, two springs gushing abundantly.
67. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
68. In them are fruits, date palms, and pomegranates.
69. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
70. In them are good and beautiful women.
71. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
72. With captivating eyes, secluded within pavilions.
73. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
74. Untouched before by either man or jinn.
75. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
76. Reclining on green cushions and splendid carpets.
77. So, which of your Lord’s marvels will you deny?
78. Blessed is the name of your Lord, possessor of Majesty and Honor.
